According to Harian Metro, they reported that the alleged police officer had been arrested after he was caught breaking into a house located in Jalan Avenue, Bandar Baru Bangi. Apparently, the incident happened at around 4.15pm in the early evening.

The man who is in his 50s was armed with a knife when the police found him. Based on a source close to the police, it was said that there was a struggle before the police managed to subdue the suspect. His motive for breaking in was simple, he wanted to rob the house.

The police also found the alleged robber making plans for a quick escape before they arrested him. The robber was going to make away with his loot of a laptop set, moneyboxes, handbags and mobile phones as he had already put them in place but the police surprised him before he could get away.

That’s not all, because after they had searched his body, it came as a surprise to the police as they found that he was actually their colleague! They discovered that he had a police authority card on him that identified him as a police officer. Total surprise there!
