It’s nice to see our Prime Minister show his softer side on social media every now and again!

Early this morning (29th May), Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak took to Twitter to share a picture of him and his beloved pet cat, Kiky.

The Prime Minister just arrived home when he tweeted the photo, saying that he got home just in time to play with Kiky. However, the cat doesn’t seem too comfortable with the way its owner was handling it!

Seriously though, why is he holding the cat like that?!

This seemingly harmless photo quickly went viral and turned into a meme among Malaysian netizens.

Many of them felt sorry for the cat because of how uncomfortable it looked, while others saw the humour in PM Najib’s post.

This isn’t the first time one of the Prime Minister’s cats became famous online, though! Earlier this year, he took to Twitter to share a photo of the latest addition to the family, Leo.
