According to Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yakoob, civil servants will soon receive good news.

Today (21 August 2022), Ismail Sabri said that an announcement will be made to civil servants on 30 August 2022. “Alhamdulilah, we have a happy announcement for them,” he said at a Keluarga Malaysia Symposium in Putrajaya.

He said that during the times when Malaysia encountered hardships, the country’s security forces and government agencies would serve without haste and with full dedication, adding that sacrifices by civil servants under the leadership of Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali are appreciated by the government.

The Prime Minister also thanked the health workers and all other parties during the Covid-19 pandemic, including those who lost their lives when treating Covid-19 patients.

He also expressed gratitude to all parties who made the National Covid-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) a success, making Malaysia one of the countries that have the fastest vaccination rate.
