In a shocking turn of events, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) today denied claims that the 14-year-old murder suspect in a Bandar Utama school had confessed to the victim the night before.
The suspect, although harbouring romantic feelings towards the victim, has never confessed to her and has been suppressing his feelings.

Selangor Police Chief also confirmed that the victim did not know the suspect personally, and both had no prior contact with each other as they are not of the same age and classroom.
The suspect, however, saw the victim heading to the washroom, and he sought permission from the teacher to leave the examination before following the victim into the washroom, where he eventually stabbed her multiple times.
It was previously reported that the suspect had confessed his feelings to the victim, who then rejected him, which fueled the hatred and allegedly caused the suspect to attack the girl.
PDRM also confirmed that the repeated stabs to the neck caused the victim’s death, and the suspect attacked her with two knives, which he purchased online.

Additionally, PDRM also confirmed that two handwritten notes were confiscated from the suspect.
“We’re still translating the content of the letters and comparing his handwriting to that in the notes to confirm if it was written by the suspect.”
In a press conference today (15 October), PDRM confirmed that the suspect will be remanded for 7 days, effective today, to assist with the investigation.
