Malaysia is known for many things like incredibly delicious food and nice people but that doesn’t mean we’re perfect. Just recently, in a YouTube video with Cinnamon Toast Ken, PewDiePie said that his worst flight experience was when he was flying home from Malaysia.
“We were on the plane for close to 2 hours and I was thinking, it’s been so long why haven’t we left yet?”, he said.
He shared that after sitting in the plane for a while more, they were escorted back down to the airport and was told that the flight is cancelled.
“It’s 2am when we were asked to head back to the airport, and I just thought we have to go to a hotel”, he said.
He then revealed that he inquired for 2 hotels, but they were all full and had no choice but to sleep in the lobby. “Malaysians treated me like I was a terrorist when I was on the plane”, he added.
He mentioned that while he was on the plane he was carrying portable batteries and a man was suspicious of what he was holding. The man then proceeded to question what he was holding and he had to explain himself.
It’s definitely not right to treat someone poorly just because they “seem” suspicious. One can always have their guards up but not mistreat someone else.
