Petsmore Staff Members From SS2 & One Utama Outlets Test Positive For Covid-19

In a recent announcement on their Facebook page, Petsmore Malaysia confirmed that two of their employees have tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

The management released a statement to announce that their One Utama outlet and their SS2 outlet will be closed temporarily for sanitisation and cleaning purposes.

They wrote, “We have recently received heartbreaking news that two of our employees at Petsmore SS2 and Petsmore One Utama Shopping Mall respectively have tested positive for the Covid-19 infection on Monday, 19 October 2020 and Tuesday, 20 October 2020. We have proceeded to close our Petsmore SS2 and Petsmore One Utama stores immediately for a thorough cleaning and sanitisation exercise in accordance with procedures. Our stores will remain temporarily closed until further notice and (will reopen) with a fresh new team.”

Petsmore also reassured the general public that their other staff members have since undergone Covid-19 swab tests and have tested negative, while also conducting the mandatory 14-day self quarantine.

“We’re working diligently to adapt to new circumstances while planning for the future. Our customers have always been the heart of our company. We’re grateful to you, your ongoing support and that we are doing our part to flatten the curve.”
