Gorgeous Fitness Gym in 1Shamelin’s sudden close angered many members who claimed they did not receive any notification prior to the incident.

There were many speculations about the case. One version says that the gym ceased operations, second version being it failing to renew its lease and another was it being a scam.

The gym was said to have continued registering new members even 3 days prior to it closing down. Gorgeous Fitness, who holds hundreds of members, received heavy criticism from members for not having the gym maintained. Their machinery such as their threadmill was complaint to not be functioning and yet it has not been replaced.

Apparently the gym owed the mall an accumulated rent of over RM700,000 and was behaving very irresponsibly as a tenant and business owner.

Although members were told to continue their training at their VIVA branch, many were still upset at the terrible management.

Fellow Facebook user Li Har mentioned in her Facebook post that “So much thanks to YB, One Shamelin Management and Newspaper help Gorgeous members to settle this problems” as the gym will be trying to settle refunds with the members.
