PEMERKASA +: Households Earning Less Than RM2.5k To Receive Additional RM500

Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, took to a press conference to announce their new initiative to help the people through the latest, full lockdown, called PEMERKASA +.

Under PEMERKASA +, he announced additional financial assistance totalling in RM2.1 billion via the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) initiative, where:

  1. Households with an income of RM2,500 and below will receive an additional RM500.
  2. Households with an income of RM2,501 to RM5,000 will receive an additional RM300.
  3. Singles with an income of less than RM2,500 will receive RM100.

He also shared that those who qualify for this financial assistance will receive it by the end of June 2021.
