A recent story has caught the attention of Malaysians after an underage girl was allegedly kicked out of a hotel room in Kuala Lumpur by her biological father and stepmother.
A Facebook post shared by Friends of PDRM revealed that the 14-year-old girl was left in a precarious situation, stranded with only her passport and a single set of clothes.

According to the post, the girl is of Korean descent and grew up in Russia, with her parents now divorced. Her mother currently lives in Phuket, Thailand, while her father resides in Bali, Indonesia, with his new partner.
“This girl is of Korean descent and grew up in Russia. Her biological father now lives in Bali, so it’s understandable that she might struggle to accept her stepmother and be resistant,” the post said.
Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers from the Dang Wangi Police Station later contacted the girl’s mother to explain the situation. Upon hearing the news, she immediately called her ex-husband to confront him.
“The ex-husband then went to the police station to report that his daughter had run away from the hotel.”

“She had no choice but to go with her biological father”
The story goes that the girl wanted to be with her mother but couldn’t, as her father and stepmother had already registered her for school in Indonesia.
“She had no choice but to go with her father since they had an upcoming flight to Bali. A big thank you to Abang Polis from Dang Wangi Police Station and his team for helping her. Wishing you all the best, kid,” the post added.
