Police are on the hunt for a man who was caught on video acting as a traffic marshal by directing other vehicles to the side and giving way for a convoy of cars at a traffic light in Pekan, Sitiawan.
Manjung deputy police chief DSP Chong Boo Khim said they have recorded a statement from a witness after the convoy incident involving several vehicles coming from the Seri Manjung Indian Temple direction. A police report was lodged at around 2.29pm.

“The 29-year-old man who worked as a driver had his statement recorded and the police have since seized a gray Proton Wira car with yellow stripes,” he said.
He explained that the urine screening of the man was found to be negative for drugs.
“The investigation was based on the Facebook account ‘ JUSSHAIRI JAUHHARI ’ with the title‘ Like Police directing other vehicles to the side and stopping to give way to their convoy'”, he explained.
“Following that, the Manjung IPD Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division lodged a police report today for further investigation and action”, he added.
