A recent CCTV clip reshared by MALAYSIAVIRALLL on X has been going viral, showing police officers raiding a man’s house, which later escalated into aggression.
According to a statement from the Petaling Jaya District Police, The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has launched an investigation into its officers’ actions during an Ops Tapis operation in Damansara last year.

4 officers carried out a raid
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaafar, said they came across a viral video and statement on Facebook around 1 PM on Tuesday.
The video, originally posted by a user named “En Abdul” and later deleted, shows a raid carried out by 4 officers from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters (IPD).
“The police confirm that the raid was conducted by the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of IPD Petaling Jaya in Pelangi Damansara,” Shahrulnizam said.

The officers destroyed the homeowner’s CCTV camera
Based on the video, the officers resorted to aggression after the homeowner allegedly refused to let them in, using force on the front door and even destroying the CCTV camera.
According to screenshots of En Abdul’s now-deleted post, he claimed that despite asking the officers for a warrant, they were unable to provide one.
He also revealed how the officers allegedly demanded an extortion payment of RM12,000 from him in cash.
Shahrulnizam also noted how the incident in the viral video took place on October 10, 2024, during an Ops Tapis operation in the Damansara area.
He added that an investigation has been launched to look into the claims made in the viral post, and strict action will be taken if any misconduct is found.
