We told you. Settling your issues with your fists of fury brings you nowhere but to the police station if you’re lucky that you don’t end up elsewhere.

2 Malaysians who went viral for getting into a physical brawl at a convenience store have been apprehended by PDRM in Penang. In a statement today (June 7), Seberang Perai Tengah district chief police, Assistant Commissioner Helmi Aris said both suspects were detained last night (June 6).

So, what actually caused the fight?

In the statement, Helmi said the store owner was approached by 2 men, and one of them asked the owner to get him a bottle of alcohol.

“A misunderstanding then happened, which escalated the matter and both suspects got into a physical fight. One of the suspects was also at the back of his head with a helmet.”

As for both suspects, Helmi said 1 of them sustained minor injuries on his face while the other remain unhurt.

The viral matter took place around 11:50 PM on June 3.

“The case is being investigated under Section 324 and Section 323 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955,” he added.

The former section revolves around the punishment for voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous means, while the latter refers to disorderly conduct in public places.

Earlier, a viral video showed 2 Malaysian men engaging in a 3-round physical fight. We hope both parties will learn from the lesson.
