In a shocking turn of events, PDRM confirmed that the suspect of the cop killer in Johor IS NOT linked to Jemaah Islamiyah, the terrorist group based in Indonesia.

However, the fact remains that AT LEAST 20 members of JI are still scattered around Johor alone.

According to the Inspector General of Police, the deceased suspect was a “lone wolf” as he took actions on his own without any relation to the terrorist organisation. PDRM is still investigating his motive.

“He was a lone wolf. He was driven by a motivation only known by himself because he had never mingled around with anyone,” IGP told BERNAMA after interviewing 46 people about this matter.

IGP also said the earlier statement about the suspect being a member of the JI came after his detained father was also found to be a member of the JI.

“PDRM’s data found out that the suspect’s father is also a member of the JI.”

In the conference yesterday, PDRM assured the public that the attack at the Ulu Tiram Police Station had nothing to do with the “big mission” of JI.
