An integrated operation by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) took place on 15 November, involving officers from both the Subang Jaya District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division and the Selangor Contingent Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department.
A man was later arrested for riding a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol during the operation at Batu 13 Toll Plaza on the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).

A total of 120 individuals were inspected
In a statement, Subang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, said the individual was arrested under Section 45A(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for riding a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol.
He added that during the operation, 120 people and 115 motorcycles were checked, 56 summonses were issued for various traffic offences, and 14 motorcycles were seized due to illegal modifications or the riders not having valid driving licenses.

Wan Azlan also said that four other motorcyclists were arrested under Section 42 of the same act for reckless and dangerous riding.
“We urge parents and guardians to stay alert and keep an eye on their children to prevent them from getting involved in illegal racing, which could lead to accidents and put other road users at risk,” he added.
