PDRM arrests 4 teenagers over alleged gang rape in Baling

Acting Police Chief of Baling district, Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Salimi Mat Ali, said that the police received a report from a 53-year-old individual on Sunday (October 12) at 11 AM after the school’s discipline teacher informed the individual about the circulation of the video involving their child naked.

3 students, including a former student of the same school, were apprehended around 9:30 PM on the same day to assist with the investigation.

Different locations, same act

Based on PDRM’s investigations, it is revealed that the 4 suspects involved were found to have sex in groups from May to August in several locations within the school classrooms.

All suspects were arrested and remanded for 5 days from the date of their arrest, and 6 mobile phones were seized for further investigation.

Salimi said the case is being investigated under Section 375B of the Penal Code for gang rape and the distribution of child pornography, reported Harian Metro.

Last week, 4 students in Melaka were arrested by PDRM after 2 of them gang raped a 15-year-old inside a classroom, while the other 2 filmed the act and guarded the area.

Despite being allowed to sit for their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations, 2 of the suspects are expected to be charged today (16 October). All suspects, however, had been expelled from the school.
