The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has confirmed that a raid was carried out at an entertainment outlet in Jalan Dato’ Sheikh Ahmad in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan yesterday (19 August).
However, the Negeri Sembilan police didn’t divulge any details regarding the raid, which allegedly involves the arrest of 15 policemen, including 1 senior officer and 2 deputy public prosecutors, as per reports by the media.
Previously, Sinar Harian shared that the alleged arrests took place at around 2.30am by the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS).
The report further said that the senior officer and 14 policemen are from various departments in the Negeri Sembilan police. Meanwhile, the 2 deputy public prosecutors are stationed at Shah Alam and Negeri Sembilan respectively.
According to BERNAMA, Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof asserted,
“I can only confirm that a raid was conducted, the full report is not ready yet,”
