Previously, we reported how a 43-year-old woman filed a police report against her own daughter, who she believed was offering sexual services through Telegram and other social media platforms.

She said her eldest daughter told her that the 15-year-old had been offering such services, allegedly giving the first one for free and only charging from the second time onwards.

Her daughter was involved with multiple men

Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat had previously confirmed the case, adding that investigations were still ongoing at the time.

Kelantan police have since referred the case to the Social Welfare Department (JKM), saying the decision was made after assessing the girl’s age and background, which indicated that she needs protection and guidance, as reported by BERNAMA.

In the latest update by Harian Metro, the girl from Kelantan is believed to have been raped by her own father.

“We do not rule out the possibility that certain individuals took advantage of the girl’s difficult circumstances and taught her how to use Telegram to find customers,” said Kelantan Police Chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat.

The father has since been arrested

The girl and her siblings have reportedly been living with their father in Kampung Gong Tinggi, Pasir Puteh, since their parents split up 10 years ago.

Her father, who’s in his 50s, was recently arrested after police received a report from the girl’s mother on September 22.

The man, who’s from Terengganu, was expected to be charged yesterday (October 7).
