Out Of Job Because Of MCO? IKEA Damansara Is Now Hiring Part-Timers!

Many Malaysians are currently facing unemployment during this MCO due to the economic slowdown. In fact, according to MEF, 2 million people are going to be jobless after Raya. In challenging times like these when jobs are few and far between, we’re grateful that some companies are still willing to hire!

Recently a netizen took to Twitter to share the good news to job searchers who are looking for vacancies!

According to the poster, IKEA Damansara has a variety of vacancies available. They’re hiring people who are interested in customer relations, in-store logistics, sales and even food assistants. The jobs offer a decent pay for part-timers and include a list of other cool benefits:

  • A fun working environment
  • Free covered car park
  • Departmental outing allowance
  • Staff purchase discount
  • Medical and insurance coverage
  • Subsidised meals

If you feel like you’re under-qualified for the job, don’t worry! The only criteria you need to fulfil to be eligible for the job are:

  • You need to have is an interest and passion in home furnishing
  • Be okay with flexible working hours
  • Possess the ability to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
