He was kicked in the stomach

The victim’s mother said this wasn’t the first time her son had been bullied, claiming the same group had targeted him several times before.

CCTV footage showed the boy, dressed in a red shirt and shorts, waiting for his mother in front of the lift at their housing block.

Moments later, four boys approached him, with one wearing a religious school uniform. One of them kicked the victim in the stomach before they all ran off.

The clip also showed a screenshot believed to be from the housing community chat group, where residents were talking about the incident.

“The public is urged not to speculate”

Meanwhile, Seri Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sohaimi Ishak, said investigations revealed that the incident occurred at 2.03 PM last Friday (August 15) under the residential block.

“The public is urged not to speculate or spread unverified information about the case, as it could cause unnecessary concern among the community,” he added.

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt, which carries a penalty of up to one year in prison, a fine of up to RM2,000, or both, if convicted.
