Sometimes, all we need to do is open our eyes wide (and heart) and look at the people around us. Despite our boredom, we have no idea that our lives which come with food, shelter, love, and comfort, are the dream life of those who are lacking in a lot of things.

A 10-year-old girl in Thailand recently had to sit for an examination at her school. However, there was a “barrier” in between. The student had to take care of her sister who is only 1 year old. Regardless, the student went to school and sat for her exam with her sister in her arms.

The scene was captured by the student’s teacher on her TikTok @yingggzz, which, at the time of writing, has amassed a whopping 2.2 million views.

The 10-year-old had her pencil to answer the questions in one hand, and her sister comfortably tucked in another arm. We guess she’s the real Supergirl who does many things that children her age can’t do.

According to the post, the girl is currently in Primary 5 and currently studying at the Ban Klong Kaem Cham School in Prachin Buri.

“She is the eldest sister in her family. Her mum is busy running errands. But, I think this is so much better than skipping schools,” the teacher said in the caption.

She added,

“I’m not sure how other teachers would feel, but I always tell my students not to miss class. Fortunately, her sister was easy to take care of.”

The student could’ve chosen to resit the paper if it was allowed by the teacher. Despite the hardship, she chose to be silent and went to school carrying her sister, having her attention on the exam paper and her sister. The matter was also reported by Thailand news outlet, Thai PBS World.

Life experience “trained” the child to be independent.

As a teacher, would you allow entry to your student who needs to care for her family member while sitting for your lecture?
