Former Prime Minister Najib Razak’s catchphrase, Malu Apa Bossku, has become something of a meme – and maybe even a bit of a cultural phenomenon. It’s been seen on t-shirts and stickers plastered across the Klang Valley, and has made its way into our collective vocabulary. It’s even made Najib pretty popular with a segment of the population!

Perhaps it’s no surprise that Najib himself discovered a Hot Wheels toy bearing his signature catchphrase!

Now, we can’t confirm if the toy in the picture, which was shared by his friend, is an actual official Hot Wheels toy, but Najib indicated that he had no prior knowledge of the toy despite his face being shown on the packaging. Sharing on his Facebook Page, the former PM told his fans to get one if they can find it, pointing out that the toy was labelled as ‘limited edition’.

Betul tak betul saya tak tahu.Member WhatsApp tadi.Kalau jumpa, jangan tengok saja.Limited edition ni. Lepas beli kasi up gambar sekali ?

“Not sure if this is true. My friend is the one who Whatsapped it to me. If you see it, don’t just look at it. It’s limited edition! Post a picture of it after buying it!” he wrote in his caption.

The toy is shaped like a four-wheel-drive car, and appears to have decals of Najib climbing onto a motorbike and the Malaysian flag. A larger version of the Najib decal can be seen on the packaging, which also bears Najib’s ‘Malu Apa Bossku’ catchphrase. In the comments, Najib also posted a picture of a sedan model toy, with the packaging even more prominently displaying his catchphrase.

Naturally, netizens were tickled by it, with many fans apparently eager to get their hands on one. Unfortunately, no one could confirm a definite source for the cars as Najib didn’t reveal where his friend found it, but if it is official, we bet it’ll be a hot collector’s item in a few weeks!

Would you collect an ‘Apa Malu Bossku’ Hot Wheels toy? Let us know in the comments!
