Recently, a woman from Terengganu went viral on social media after she started selling 55 types of breakfast items for RM1 each.
“My intention is not to make a lot of money but to help people in need.”
Nurul Hidayu, 34, from Kampung Tasik Padang Khabor said she intended to help people in need not to make a lot of money. She started running the business since October 14 with only four types of items on the menu.
The items included were fried rice, nasi minyak, nasi lemak, and there are also various types of modern and traditional kuih-muih.
Through an interview session with Harian Metro, Hidayu said that she is targeting 100 items starting next year to diversify the menu and meet customer demand.
According to Hidayu, all the ideas for the menu was provided by her family members, including aunts, siblings and cousins.
“Satisfied to be able to help the public knowing that after the Movement Control Order (MCO), many residents are affected and have financial problems.”
The stall is located in Kampung Tasik Padang Kabar, Marang and is open from 7am every day, and usually, all the breakfast items will run out within an hour.
