After much anticipation, the Pangkalan Data Utama (PADU) is finally open to the public. The government claims that PADU will make it easier to distribute subsidies and help them make better decisions when creating policies.
In a recent update from PADU Official, it was mentioned that individuals who do not register on PADU will still have their basic data automatically included in the system.
Secured and safe system
The data stored in the PADU system will make it easier for the Statistics Department to analyse data, conduct censuses, and distribute government aid. This will also help the government create policies that better suit the needs of the people.
It has been reported that the system is secure to use, and the data stored in the PADU system is also securely protected.
“Congratulations to all Malaysians who have successfully updated their information in PADU until 11:59 PM on March 31, 2024.”
PADU will still include basic data in the system for those who did not register
Since its launch on January 2nd, the PADU system has operated seamlessly without any interruptions or downtime, even amidst high traffic volume.
The post mentioned that for those who haven’t had a chance to update by the closing date, the administrative data from various agencies will be used first in the analysis process.
