Starting this week, Economy Minister Mohd Rafizi bin Ramli is starting a new interactive platform for Malaysians to pose any questions to him.

Taking to his official X page, Rafizi shared that instead of just entertaining posers from news reporters, he is now letting the rakyat directly ask him about anything.

The Economy Minister elaborated that he’ll be compiling the questions from the people and answering them in a weekly video series on his social media platform.

Accordingly, if you want to ask Rafizi or the Economy Ministry any questions or draw his attention to something, you can just post on any social media platform with the hashtag #TanyaRafizi or via this Google form.

In the X post, Rafizi also shared a video in which he can be seen interacting with an individual off-screen, who is presumably a reporter.

The person can be heard saying that he’s bored of always posing questions to the Economy Minister to which Rafizi replied that he’s also bored of only answering to the same reporters’ queries.

He added that given how the public has always criticised the government’s weakness in the communications department, he has decided to start this #TanyaRafizi initiative. Hence, Rafizi is welcoming everyone to start posing questions for him to answer.

So, what do you guys think of this initiative? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
