They made a mistake on one of their stickers…

As part of the promotion, the coffee brand is offering sticker packs with designs showcasing iconic Malaysian landmarks in celebration of Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day.

However, one sticker in particular grabbed the attention of netizens due to a noticeable mistake in the Sarawak-themed design.

In the post, the netizen pointed out how the coffee company had mistakenly featured a toucan in their design, instead of the rhinoceros hornbill.

Rhinoceros hornbill is Sarawak’s official bird

Though it’s not uncommon for Malaysians to confuse a toucan with a rhinoceros hornbill, many were quick to express their disappointment over this design error.

Given that the rhinoceros hornbill is Sarawak’s official state bird, the said netizen felt the company should have done better research, especially for something as significant as their sticker pack.

“The designer clearly didn’t do his homework.”

“Looks like they pulled a template from the internet. Why is the Pisa Tower on there?”

It’s worth clarifying that the “Pisa Tower” mentioned by one of the commenters is, in fact, the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan, an iconic landmark in Perak.

Maybe it’s just an honest mistake? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
