Can you find the courage to forgive someone who is no longer among the living for a mistake they committed when they were alive?

A Malaysian woman who recently lost her husband to a fatal accident discovered a secret just outside the morgue, whereby he had a mistress before his death.

She made the shocking and heartbreaking discovery when going through his late husband’s phone, and stumbled upon the conversation with his mistress that he didn’t manage to delete.

According to the grieving woman, the mistress was also a married woman, and her husband had no idea about the infidelity.

She paid the mistress a visit

According to a viral Threads post that has since been removed, the woman paid a visit to the house of the mistress and confronted her about the secret relationship, which she initially denied.

“Homewreckers are always so stupid, just like the woman. She denied, so I turned on the messages and played the voice note while her husband was there. He was shocked about it, too.”

The woman also said she decided to visit the mistress as she wanted to be able to forgive her husband and give him a sincere sendoff before giving herself closure.

“Sometimes, I wonder if this is his Qifarah (Karma). At other times, I am worried about his fate in the afterlife.”

“However, I am hit by the fact that he cheated on me, and I couldn’t help but think this is his karma for cheating on me.”

Can you find it in yourself to forgive your deceased partner for a mistake that you only find out after they are long gone?
