“It is feared that this incident may bring down the image of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM). The case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing a civil servant in carrying out their duties and Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998,” he added.

Earlier, a 40-second video of a local woman provoking and shouting abusive words at 2 policemen had gone viral online. The action of the woman, who is believed to be an influencer, also indirectly hindered the public servants in carrying out their duties.
