“It was the longest 20mins” – M’sian Woman Gets Trapped in Lift While Suffering Menstrual Cramps

This is a nightmare fuel for the claustrophobics. Getting stuck in an elevator never feels good not just with the lights off but also grasping the fact that you’re levitating mid-air in a metal cubicle. 

A Malaysian woman recently had to brace through the fear and anxiety alone when she was stuck in a lift alone for what seemed like the longest 20 minutes of her life. What made it worse was not the fact that she was all alone in the lift but she was also going through menstrual cramps. On her TikTok post @batrisyiaroseee, she shared some snippets of anxiety-filled moments when she was stuck in the lift.

Despite her fear and pain, Batrisyia braced herself through the longest 20 minutes of her life by remaining calm and trying her best to ignore the period pain that she was struggling with. You could see how she bent her body a little forward before squatting down to put herself at ease when the anxiety kicked in.

Fortunately, the light in the lift was turned on the entire time. Batrisyia tried to remain calm until rescue came.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Batrisyia said that it happened at her workplace in Cheras, but she couldn’t disclose the exact location. However, it was not the 1st time that the lifts at her workplace had gone out of service.

“It happened a few times before but it was my 1st time getting trapped in the lift,” she said.

Batrisyia also told WORLD OF BUZZ that she went down to the convenience store to get something for her period pain, and when was stuck in the lift, it elevated her anxiety.

‘Fortunately, the lift was spacious and the air-cond was still running.”

The incident happened at the worst time possible when Batrisyia had to deal with period pain in an unsafe space. You can watch the clip below.
