Some students have a habit of eating during lectures, and honestly, keeping your stomach full can make all the difference during a two-hour class.
In a recent video that’s been making the rounds online, @afarosly shared a clip of his friend who appears to be casually enjoying his meal while sitting in class.
“My classmate brought noodles and dumplings”
In the video, the student in question (Haz) was seen casually enjoying a bowl of noodles, complete with a fork, which was intentionally brought to class for everyone to enjoy.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Afarosly explained that his classmate, Hawa, made noodles and dumplings at home and brought them to class to share with her friends.
“It was around 8:40 AM at the time. My classmate Hawa brought noodles and dumplings, along with the pink bowl, to share breakfast with her friends in class,” he said.
“Sharing food in class is part of our tradition”
Afarosly went on to explain that just before their 9 AM class started, Haz decided to have his breakfast, even before the lecturer entered the classroom.
He clarified that sharing food during breakfast or break time is actually a tradition among their classmates, and the caption in the video was just for fun.
“The ‘Lecturer: It’s okay to eat in my class as long as you don’t sleep’ was simply to catch viewers’ attention and follow the current trend,” he said.
Netizens started flooding the comment section with their thoughts and reactions.
“One day, they’ll end up bringing nasi gepuk instead.”
“I miss being a student.”
“Most people bring cup noodles, but this one brought a whole bowl.”
“You can eat, but don’t bring a bowl with you.”
“I bet he’d end up falling asleep after eating that.”
