Wedding season is upon us, and with it comes a whole lot of expenses for engaged couples.
It’s definitely amazing to be able to celebrate the union between you and your partner, but the price tags that come along with planning a wedding is certainly no joke! Why everything so expensive one?! T-T
Loads of couples definitely want amazing photos to document their wedding, and most of them think this means spending the most on designer clothes to get beautiful shots. However, Keow Wee Long, a Malaysian photographer who’s in the midst of planning his own wedding, shared on Facebook how you don’t need designer clothes in order to get beautiful photos.
His post reads,
“Do we really need a USD1,000 to USD4,000 (approx. RM3,930 to RM15,730) wedding dress to capture the perfect pre-wedding photo? If you are spending so much on a designer dress I will recommend you to put that money on a good photographer… Because image is created by the photographer, not the dress. I bought two cheap wedding dresses that cost under RM80 (USD20) for this photoshoot. Special thanks to Onsmo for this awesome light…”
Of course, to prove his point, he shared the stunning bridal shots of his fiancée taken by KM.Co Wedding Photography and they’re definitely breathtaking!
So, where did he get the inexpensive dresses? He shared in his post that he bought them at an unassuming shop in Times Square before setting out to Cameron Highlands at 12am. The wedding photoshoot took place at 6am shortly after they arrived, and lasted the entire morning until 1pm. Dang, that’s dedication!
Well, there’s certainly no better proof than the stunning results! It just goes to show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money on expensive wedding gowns to get beautiful pre-wedding photos!
