A single Malaysian mother with six children, including a paralysed eight-year-old daughter, can only financially sustain her family with her existing income as a helper at a stall in her village in Kampung Bakar Bata, Pinang Tunggal, Sungai Petani.
The mother, who is known as Kak Fatimah, recently had her story shared on the Facebook group, Penang Kini.
“It all started when Puan Fatimah went outside one day and found her eight-year-old child unconscious under a pile of ceiling bricks. Due to the unfortunate incident, the poor girl was paralysed and requires life-long medical treatment,” penned the post.
With five other children to care for on top of these medical bills, we can’t imagine how Kak Fatimah is providing for her family with just a helper’s salary.
