A single Malaysian mother with six children, including a paralysed eight-year-old daughter, can only financially sustain her family with her existing income as a helper at a stall in her village in Kampung Bakar Bata, Pinang Tunggal, Sungai Petani.

Kak fatimah’s paralysed eight-year-old daughter.

The mother, who is known as Kak Fatimah, recently had her story shared on the Facebook group, Penang Kini.

“It all started when Puan Fatimah went outside one day and found her eight-year-old child unconscious under a pile of ceiling bricks. Due to the unfortunate incident, the poor girl was paralysed and requires life-long medical treatment,” penned the post.

With five other children to care for on top of these medical bills, we can’t imagine how Kak Fatimah is providing for her family with just a helper’s salary.

What’s more heartbreaking is that she has to take her child to the hospital for treatment regularly but the nearest hospital is a 45-minute motorcycle ride away. Thankfully, the post listed details for fellow Malaysians to help Kak Fatimah and the struggling family through the information provided below:

Kak Fatimah (0143148891)
Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) – 0230029000588382 Fatimah Binti Hashim

If you’re financially able to contribute to this family’s situation, do consider contacting her via the information provided in the post. A little goes a long way.
