In a recent video that’s been making the rounds all over social media, user @bckupacc99 posted a clip featuring a girl who seemed to be crying, accompanied by a caption that read, “how we broke up” at the beginning of the video.
In the video, the girl was trying to make content in the car with a woman beside her. It was later revealed that the woman was actually her boyfriend’s mother.
The girl can be heard asking the woman if they could make a video together.
The woman replied to her request, saying,
“I’ve noticed that you frequently share content on social media, revealing almost everything about yourself. Why is that?”
The woman goes on to explain to the girl that her son, Alif, is her only child. She expresses her discomfort with the idea of her son dating someone who is actively involved in creating content for social media.
The woman openly admits that she is not very keen on her son going out with the girl. The woman went so far as to bring up how well-educated her son is.
Netizens promptly joined the conversation to express their opinions on the entire situation.

“Seek out someone with a family that welcomes you as a son or daughter-in-law. In life, it’s common to have a partner who is supportive, but it can be challenging if the family doesn’t feel the same way about you. Look for a family that appreciates and accepts you, making sure to find someone whose family is a good fit for you.”
“The woman seems pretty intense, and the girl has her share of issues too. Normally, when meeting someone’s mother, it’s best not to be overly focused on creating content. It’s understandable why the woman got upset. Girls nowadays can be a little off.”
