The anxiety when your loved one has gone missing with no updates is indescribable.
A Malaysian mother, Judy Tan recently shared the news about her missing 17-year-old daughter on her Facebook post and urged the public to contact her immediately if they have any information at all.
According to a report by Oriental Daily, Judy said that her daughter left home on Monday (September 25) around 3p.m. without bringing her mobile phone. Judy was out picking her other children up from school at 2:30pm and when she reached home, her daughter had already gone missing.
Ran away?
Judy, a single mother who stays in Kepong also revealed that her daughter has never skipped class but she was surprisingly absent on Monday, as informed by her teacher.
Her teacher also shed a detail that might be helpful – the girl was last seen carrying large and small bags at a bus stop near Aeon Mall in Kepong.
“I asked where she was headed, and she told me she was going home,” the teacher said.
After seeking help from the school and her daughter’s close friends, Judy decided to use the power of social media in search of her daughter. In the meantime, Judy guessed that her daughter might be stressed out from her studies.
“I might not have given her enough care and attention, that’s probably why she left.”
Judy added, “Please come home. We can always talk.”
In her Facebook post, Judy shared a police report that she had made, and it was revealed that her daughter had left a note, saying,
“I’m sorry, mother. I’m leaving and please don’t look for me.”
If you have seen Judy’s daughter or have any information at all, do contact her at 0182189377. We hope nothing but the best for Judy and her daughter.
