M’sian Man Suddenly Collapses & Dies in Front of Mother in Perak After Taking Her Out for Dinner

A 60-year-old man suddenly died in his car on Thursday evening (20 November), after having dinner with his mother in Gopeng, Perak.

According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, the 60-year-old man, who was unmarried and lived with his 80-year-old mother, often took her out for meals.

The deceased had taken his mother for dinner at around 5 PM, which is said to be their usual routine. However, when they finished their meal and were about to drive home, the man suddenly stopped breathing.

His mother attempted to wake him up, but to no avail. She then got out of the car and sought help from the general public, which led to a large crowd gathering.

The police arrived at the scene at around 6 PM, while paramedics arrived shortly after. Upon being examined, the man was confirmed dead, and his body was returned to his home for his family to handle the funeral arrangements.

Residents have since pointed out that the man had suffered from a kidney disease and is suspected to have died from a heart attack.
