It’s not that hard to follow the rules, especially when it’s self-explanatory. Years after women’s coaches were designed for ladies on public transport, many users are still happily violating the rules and space.

Do we really need to count on the auxiliary police ALL the time? In a TikTok post by @itsrafaaa, a man was seen ignoring the call to leave the women’s coach on the MRT. Rafa, a Tanzanian woman said she had asked the man multiple times politely to leave the coach but to no avail. He was initially not on the phone when Rafa wasn’t recording.

“Shut up!” the man told Rafa when he was asked to leave.

The clip shows the man ignoring Rafa, despite being recorded but according to her, she did not manage to record what happened earlier prior to the recording. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Rafa said the man shouted at her when he was first asked to leave the women’s coach.

“The passengers stared at me, and I took my phone out to record the incident. That was when he took out his phone and pretended to be on a call, and tried to show that I was disturbing him when that was not the case.”

Rafa added that the man got down at the Bukit Bintang station, and she tried to look for help from the auxiliary police but unfortunately, no one was available.

“I wanted to make a report about the incident but I couldn’t manage to find the auxiliary police. All I have is the video, so I thought I could just share my experience.”

Rafa also told WORLD OF BUZZ that it wasn’t her 1st time to “chase” men away from the women’s coach.

“Usually, people leave when I tell them politely but this was the 1st time for me to get cursed by a male passenger.”

We really can’t be relying on the auxiliary police or things to go viral all the time to make this “invasion” stop. To all the MRT users out there, do you see a similar incident happening often?
