“Stupid content” – M’sian Lies on Top of Fire in Hopes of ‘Burning Fat’, Gets Condemned by M’sians

The rise of the internet has given access to the public to produce and spread their content to the whole world. However, this has unfortunately led to people doing some irresponsible things in the hopes of going viral or gaining popularity.

Recently, a photo which showed a man lying on top of a bonfire has recently gone viral for all the wrong reasons after it was alleged that he was trying to ‘burn’ away his body fat.

The pictures were shared to the Facebook group ‘B40 Buat Perangai Apa Harini’, showed a man lying on top of a wooden plank whilst a bonfire burns underneath him.

The caption of the post alleged said that he was trying to ‘burn’ away some body fat and decided to do so by lying on top of the burning bonfire.

“He said (it’s) to burn fat. Could’ve ended up leaving with skeletons only by mistake. Great. Who gave him the pro-tip?”

Promoting stupid content

The post has since gone viral as netizens shared their thoughts on the pictures. Some netizens saw the funny side of it and made jokes about the man’s actions.

Another netizen said, “He is taking part in the rehearsal on what would happen after death. He is preparing himself in case he ends up in hell so he wouldn’t be too surprised.”

On the other hand, a few netizens said that it is distasteful content and that irresponsible actions like this should not be promoted and shared.

“For the sake of content.”
