A Malaysian’s sharing about their neighbour moving to another state caught the attention of netizens recently, with the video depicting how the neighbour is transporting their pet cats to their new home going viral on TikTok.

As of the time of writing, the video, shared by @m.dan_22 has garnered over 138,000 views and more than 16,800 likes.

So, why is something rather normal like moving homes going viral?

Well, it’s because m.dan_22‘s neighbour has a whopping 100 pet cats, which understandably poses a challenge when planning to transport them across state lines.

In the caption, it was revealed that the neighbour is moving from their current home in Ipoh, Perak to somewhere in Kedah.

At the start of the video, @m.dan_22‘s very own feline companion sits on a motorbike as it looks at its 100 cat friends being prepped to move hundreds of kilometres away.

The camera then pans through the surroundings to show a sea of cats inside their cages awaiting to be put inside their ‘ride’ to their new home.

It was then revealed that the cats were being transported using a lorry, with an individual seen carefully loading the cages onto the heavy vehicle.

Malaysians hope that the cats will reach their destination safely

In the comments section, many Malaysians share their 2 cents about the video, with many also praying that the cats would be safely transported to their new home.

One commenter lauded the pet owner as a true cat lover as they treat them like family, not leaving even 1 behind. @m.dan_22 then jokingly replied that indeed, they didn’t leave any cats behind even though he asked them to leave 2 for him.

Meanwhile, one commenter hoped that the cats would reach their destination safely, though they did worry that the cats would use the inside of the lorry as a litterbox the same way the commenter’s own cat did inside their car when going to the vet.

Besides that, several commenters also shared their own experience of owning a large number of cats.

1 commenter who owns 50 cats said that they’re stressed when going anywhere for a long period of time thinking about the cats’ welfare.

However, they said that the stress immediately fades away when they spend time with the cats.
