During Ramadhan, those who are fasting tend to have their work or schedule planned earlier to avoid any clashes with their iftar. Unlike any other day, iftar takes place at a specific time and no one delays their meal after over 14 hours of hunger.
A Malaysian woman, however, had to rush to the nearest convenience store to get some snacks for iftar, but not under the circumstances she expected. In a viral TikTok video by @ainamardhiahhhhh, her friend was seen paying for her snacks at the convenience store in the midst of her hair-dye process, with the hair clips and foil sheets still attached to her hair!
Most of us would’ve felt embarrassed to walk around with the equipment still on our heads, knowing how it would garner attention from the people around us.
According to Aina, her friend had to rush to the convenience store because it was already time to break the fast, and it was still a long way to go before her hair-dye process ended.
With a strong feeling of hunger, Aina’s friend nonchalantly entered the store, chose her snacks, and paid for her food.
Fortunately, the convenience store was not far at all. In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Aina said the convenience store was right beside the hair salon in Desa Pandan, KL. When asked if her friend had made a reservation to dye her hair, Aina said she did not.
They had their activities planned but sometimes, changes unexpectedly happened which caused Aina’s friend to get her snack despite being “occupied” at the moment.
“We walked in around 5pm. We expected her to be done before the iftar but something happened in between, causing us to fall behind schedule.”
Aina also told WORLD OF BUZZ that since the convenience store was not far at all, her friend decided to get some snacks for iftar because she was already starving.
