It’s become a common thing for Malaysians to disrespect law and ethics by cutting queues at traffic lights and intersections.
But, when attempting to cut a queue and the person you’re trying to cut in front of prevents you from doing so, the best thing for you to do is to not further embarrass yourself. We guess this man didn’t get that memo.
The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page recently shared ridiculously satisfying dashboard camera footage of a driver telling off a man who tried to pick a fight with him after he prevented the man from cutting in front of him at a traffic light in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. For us to easily explain what happened, let’s call the guy with the dashboard camera A and the guy who cut the queue will be B.
我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians wrote, “Wrongfully cutting queue and still want to ask for a fight.”
In the video, a big black car (B) could be seen trying to cut the queue at a green light as vehicles turned right. A disallowed B from cutting in front of him, causing B to slow down and cut in behind him.
Soon after, B shows up again, cuts in front of A, slams his brakes, puts on his hazard lights and then moves to the shoulder of the road to stop. B who cut the queue basically signalled for A to stop with him so that he could pick a fight.
At this point, both cars are stopped by the side of the road and the dashboard camera angle is turned so that it could capture the interaction, and might we add, it was so satisfying!
A opened his door and asked B what he wanted.
“Why did you do that to me??” B angrily asked A why he prevented him from cutting the queue. Before B could say anything else, A fearlessly put B in his place.
“No, look, you cut the queue. It’s okay, I have a dashcam,” A said before B interrupted him.
“I cut the queue, it’s my mistake. It’s okay, you can record it. Don’t worry, I don’t have a problem with that,” B responded.
“It’s okay, I don’t have a problem either. I’m following my lane. If there’s anything, you deal with it yourself,” A said before closing his door, telling B that there’s no use having this conversation. B could be heard telling A to get out of the car.
“It’s okay, I’m going to go make a report. If JPJ summons you, you pay okay?”, A calls out to B as he drives away, refusing to waste any more time with B.
