A recent video shared by Update11111 has gone viral, showing a man angrily confronting an e-hailing driver after the driver allegedly put him and his family in danger.

In the post, the man vented his frustration, explaining how he and his family had called an e-hailing cab to take them to the stadium for their daughter’s competition.

“The driver’s behaviour felt off”

The man went on to explain that when they got into the car and the driver started driving, he noticed a strange smell but tried to brush it off and stay positive.

He wrote,

“We didn’t want to be late for our daughter’s competition, so I tried to stay positive despite the weird smell. When we were about to start the journey, the driver tried to speed up, but his gear wasn’t in place, and it made the car roar.”

Even after mentioning the issue with the gear, the driver just laughed it off, and his eyes seemed off, almost like he was high.

“Looking at his eyes, I could tell something was off. After he switched gears, he sped up and started swerving left and right, even almost crashing into a car and a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction,” he added.

The man pulled the handbrake since the driver wouldn’t stop

The man shared how the ride was abruptly cut short after just a few minutes. However, the driver marked the journey as completed despite not reaching their destination.

“I told the driver to stop the car because I was worried for my wife and daughter’s safety, but he just ignored me. I had no choice but to pull the handbrake to stop the car and told my wife and daughter to get out.”

He added that he couldn’t imagine what might have happened if they had let the driver keep going, not knowing what could have come next.

In the video, the man is heard telling the driver not to take any more customers and to go home. He even asked the driver if he was drunk, to which the driver nodded in response.
