Malaysian director, producer and screenwriter Adele Lim is making our country proud after it was announced that she will be among the inductees of the Asian Hall of Fame 2023 at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, the United States this 21 October.
Lim will be joining an illustrious list of personalities for the 2023 induction, including Lalisa Manoban or more affectionately known as Lisa from K-pop group Blackpink, Far East Movement, Jennifer Lee or better known as EDM artist TOKiMONSTA, actor Ryuichi Sakamoto and more.

Born in Petaling Jaya, Lim started her career as a script coordinator for Xena: Warrior Princess and afterwards has written for many popular TV series such as One Tree Hill, Life Unexpected, Reign, Lethal Weapon and Private Practice.
Lim is most probably well-known for being the co-screenwriter for the massive Hollywood film Crazy Rich Asians and the screenwriter of the animated feature film Raya and the Last Dragon.
Most recently, Lim made her feature directorial debut with the comedy film Joy Ride starring Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu and Sabrina Wu.
Established in 2004, the Asian Hall of Fame works to advance Asian and Indigenous leadership, achievements, and service to the United States and globally.
