Do you remember the local dance crew, Zeppo Youngsterz, who won big at the Body Rock Dance Competition 2023 in San Diego, United States?

Well, since their win, they’ve been doing performances everywhere, including in Singapore for the Super 24 dance competition, where they were also crowned a champion.

Taking to their Instagram page, Zeppo Youngsterz shared their performance which incorporated our Southeast Asian culture in their costumes and dance moves. Though, it appears that Indonesians are not happy about this as they believe the dance crew used their culture.

“Batik Parang originates from Yogyakarta, but it is being claimed by a country that is poor in culture. As someone from Yogyakarta, I can only think about it.”

We honestly think Zeppo Youngsterz did an amazing job!
