It’s never easy to deal with the loss of a loved one, especially if the person is your own blood.
Just recently, a Malaysian man completed his 6 months of military training with the Malaysian Army. Most of his family members were there for the graduation of his training but not his mother, who has passed away. However, the family “brought his mother” to him, but not in a way you or anyone else would have expected.
On @tiniepadil_makeupbridal’s TikTok post, Tinie shared a heartbreaking post of her younger brother’s reaction upon receiving a priceless gift. Her brother, fondly known as Dayat unboxed the gift that his family brought to him for the graduation day – a portrait of their late mother.
Dayat saw the portrait before he finished unboxing the gift, which immediately brought him to tears. Only those who have lost their parents would understand the pain of not having their loved ones by their side on an important occasion.
“Everyone at the scene was crying, including my father. I was shaking when I recorded the whole thing,” Tinie said.
She added that throughout her 32 years of life, she has never seen her father cry. Things were overwhelming for her brother, but he carried on and unboxed the gift, revealing the entire portrait of their late mother.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Tinie said her brother started the training back in March this year, which has recently ended.
“My brother had his eyes on our late mother’s portrait all the time.”
When asked about her late mother, Tinie told WORLD OF BUZZ that their mother passed away 2 years back.
“She passed away in Kulim, Kedah due to complications from the Covid-19 virus.”
It was an emotional and overwhelming day for Dayat, but with the support from his entire family, it didn’t take him long to get back on his feet and spend the rest of the day with them. You can watch the emotional video below.
