Be it Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, or even Christmas, they’re called seasons of celebration for a reason. It’s the time when people gather and mingle around with each other to strengthen their bond, and the presence of family members is a MUST.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the privilege to celebrate happy times with their family. A Malaysian girl named Ka recently shared a heartwarming yet heartbreaking experience on her Twitter where she randomly approached a pair of elderlies at a mosque in Sendayan, Seremban for a few pictures.

There’s no harm in taking pictures but Ka had her own reason for that, and it’s going to bring you to tears.

“I want to feel my parents”

At first glance, one might think that it was just a few pictures of a daughter with her parents. We wish it was really that simple.

Ka revealed that she approached the pair for a picture because she wanted to feel her parents in the morning of Raya. Both her parents have passed away.

“I don’t know whose parents are they, but thank you for the opportunity. I randomly approached them to get permission for some pictures, and thank you for the opportunity,” Ka expressed.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ka said she came out of the prayer hall during Raya morning and saw everyone taking photos together. She then randomly approached a woman, who happened to be the daughter of the elderly couple who agreed to take pictures with her.

“Before things got weird, I went straight to the point and told them my intention, and said I am an orphan.”

Ka was beyond grateful when they agreed to a quick photo session.

Ka also told WORLD OF BUZZ that both her parents passed away due to the Covid-19 virus.

“Both of them passed away in July 2021. My dad left first and 4 days later, my mom left,” Ka said.

It’s never easy to deal with the loss of a loved one, and we’re glad that the family agreed to fulfill Ka’s wish. If you still have the luxury of talking to your parents, do spend more time with them and take this opportunity to express your love.
