An elderly man is sharing his shock upon finding out that his beloved granddaughter, a Form 3 student named Noor Amalia Salwa Mohd Suhairi, was killed in a car accident involving his son, 33-year-old Muhamad Faris.
According to a report by Sinar Harian, 69-year-old Ismail Hassan said that the accident took place at around 5:30 pm on Saturday (April 26) at Kampung Kayu Rendang, Kelantan. He was initially informed that his 4th child, Muhamad Faris, was involved in an accident.

“I went to the scene of the incident to check on the condition of my son after being informed that he had been involved in an accident, but when I got there, it turned out that it was not only my son but also my granddaughter, whom I had raised since she was 5-years-old, was also involved in the accident,” he said.
Here’s what happened
The accident happened when the son had been riding home after finishing his work as a housekeeper in Tumpat. During the journey, a motorcycle suddenly turned to enter a junction towards a noodle shop, causing Muhamad Faris to be unable to brake in time and collide with the motorcycle.
It turns out that the man’s niece, Noor Amilia, was riding the motorcycle.

Muhamad Faris only found out that the motorcyclist he had collided with was his niece after the ambulance arrived on the scene.
“Until now, he, who suffered minor injuries, is still traumatised by the incident and is grieving the loss of his niece,” Ismail Hassan added.
Noor Amilia was rushed to the USM Specialist Hospital (HPUSM) for treatment due to serious head, lung and right arm injuries. Unfortunately, after a 3-day coma, she was confirmed dead at 10:30am on Monday (April 28).
“Only after her passing did I remember Noor Amilia telling me that her late father had called to her. I thought it was just a joke. Before leaving the house on the evening of the accident, she told me that she remembered memories with her late father, who passed away 9 years ago due to a fall at work. The man often brought home noodles for her,” he explained.
Our sincerest condolences to Ismail Hassan and his family.
