@kapcaipackers took to TikTok to share an adventure he and his wife had upon arriving in Paris, hoping to catch the Paris Olympics 2024.
In the video, Alfi can be seen posing in front of the Eiffel Tower with his motorcycle, having just completed the journey from Malaysia, travelling exclusively by motorcycle with his wife, Diana.
They initially wanted to catch the 2020 Olympics in Japan
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Alfi shared that their journey kicked off in Malaysia on December 29 2023, and after a long haul, they finally made it to Paris on August 6 2024.
Originally, they had their sights set on watching the Olympics in Japan back in 2020, but COVID-19 and the global lockdowns threw a wrench in their plans.
Not wanting to let the pandemic bring them down, they decided to take on a new challenge by making it to Paris just in time for the 2024 Olympics.
They made it their mission to catch the 2024 Olympics
Earlier this year in January, Alfi and his wife were actually in Qatar to catch the AFC football tournament and support the Harimau Malaya team after travelling from Malaysia.
He explained that they had left Malaysia on December 29 2023 and arrived in Qatar on January 22 2024, which took about 3 weeks.
“When COVID-19 hit, and we couldn’t fulfill our dream to witness the 2020 Olympics in Japan. So, we decided to do it this year. Since we were already on a ride to watch the AFC in Qatar in January, we continued our journey to Paris for the 2024 Olympics.”
Coincidentally, that trip became the starting point for their journey from Qatar to Paris, covering approximately 9,000 km.
“From Qatar, we made pit stops in Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and finally France.”
En route to Scandinavia!
When Alfi was asked about their future travel plans, he said,
“We’re still on the road right now, currently in Germany. Our next destination is Scandinavia, where we’re hoping to check off another item on our wish list!”
Netizens quickly flooded the comment section with their support and reactions.
“Congratulations. It’s amazing that you went to Paris just by motorcycle.”
“I’d like to join you on your next trip, brother.”
“You’re amazing, brother.”
“You’re incredible, brother. I’ve been following your YouTube channel for a while now, and it’s awesome to see you traveling the world on just your motorcycle.”
