A random act of kindness by local celebrity Zara Zya warmed the hearts of Malaysians recently, with many praising the actress for supporting a hardworking street vendor.
Taking to her TikTok account, Zara Zya shared a video of her encounter with the Indian woman selling cotton candies and other snacks in front of a bank.
Viewed over 185,000 times as of the time of writing, the video started with the local celebrity coming across the street vendor while on the road.
Zara Zya then shared her excitement at seeing cotton candies being sold by the vendor, saying that the sweet was one of her favourite snacks as a kid.
After having a conversation with the street vendor, Zara Zya found out that she was selling snacks by the roadside to earn extra income to help her mother.
The local actress then decided to help the vendor, whom she dubbed her “little sister” by finishing her sales for the whole day by purchasing all of her cotton candies.
Zara Zya then asked the street vendor to distribute the cotton candies to any children who passed by the area for free. She also noted how happy the hardworking vendor was when she purchased all of her cotton candies for the day.
The actress then took one of the cotton candies for herself and left the stall in a happy mood, a feeling shared by the street vendor.

In the video’s comments section, many Malaysians were touched by the wholesome interaction and thanked Zara Zya for her random act of kindness to the street vendor.
One commenter thanked the celebrity’s kindness and hoped that she would be blessed with good karma for her actions. Meanwhile, another commenter prayed that she is blessed with good health and continue to help others.
