Examination season can often be a stressful and unnerving time for students. And for those around the country who are currently sitting for SPM 2023, it’s understandable that they may seek time for themselves after each paper. One Malaysian boy, however, is showing that despite his preoccupation with academic matters, he still finds the time to help his family when they need it.
Malaysian TikTok user Adriana Balqis recently shared a TikTok video to her page @cikpuanhana of her son working for their family business right after sitting for an SPM paper. Still clad in his school uniform, the young kid seemed to be juicing strands of sugar cane. Diligently carrying out his duty, the boy processed as many strands as he could, calmly yet systematically.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Adriana said that her husband currently runs a sugar cane water and coconut water business five days a week at Bukit Pasir in Muar, Johor. In reference to her son, whose name is Muhammad Ibnu Adam, Adriana stated that he immediately came to help his parents at the store after finishing his SPM paper on the day, even though he was not asked to do so.
“Normally, when it’s a public holiday, he will help us at our business for the whole day. All my children do,” said Adriana to WORLD OF BUZZ.
Receiving immense praise from various Malaysians, multiple users applauded the school-going boy for serving his family, despite this period of time being relatively stressful.
“May you succeed in your SPM examination and be a good child until the end of time, good luck!” wrote one user.
