A Malaysian venting her frustrations at the alleged terrible service she experienced from a popular pizza eatery found herself being scrutinised online instead.
This is after netizens spotted an important detail on the receipt she posted online, which essentially revealed that the whole fiasco was the woman’s own fault.
“No delivery, no response, no refund” even after more than a week
In a post shared on the popular pizza eatery’s Facebook page, the woman claimed that she received “really terrible service” from the restaurant chain.
The woman then claimed that even after more than a week, she still hadn’t gotten a delivery, a refund or even a response from the eatery.
The woman asserted,
“Don’t order pizza from here again. Paid but no delivery, no response, no refund! It has been over a week!”
She also attached a screenshot of the receipt of the online order she placed with the pizza eatery which revealed several details about the order.
The RM183.50 order was placed on 10 April for the pizza eatery’s store in Johor Bahru. For reference, the woman posted the online complaint on 19 April.
Malaysians call out the customer for expecting a delivery when ordering “pickup”
Recently, the post began to get traction from Malaysians on Facebook, with many highlighting an important detail on the online receipt, whereby it is clearly stated that the woman opted for “pickup” for the order rather than delivery.
Hence, many Malaysians flood the comments section to mock the disgruntled customer instead, as the receipt showed that she was clearly at fault.
One commenter asked the original poster why she was expecting a delivery when it clearly stated in the receipt that the order type was “pickup”.
A couple of netizens agreed with the observation, with one of them joking that the order might still be there waiting for her until today.
Meanwhile, one commenter said that the woman should change her name to Karen if she expected a delivery but ordered pickup.
